~~Inner Mongolia Trip~~

This Mid Autumn Festival, our Team Microsoft went to Inner Mongolia. Friday after work we take train to Inner Mongolia then Sunday night back to Beijing. Is about 10 hours train to Inner Mongolia, so the train we took is 4 person per room, is bed, we can sleep during the 10 hours and it is much more better than what we thought :P

We reach Inner Mongolia around 7am in the morning, so cold~~ Our travel guide ady wait for us there and bring us for breakfast in town before heading to the grassaland.Is still very different between city and rural areas. We travel another 2 hours to the grassland and when we reach there, they are having a welcome party for us...hehe, welcome drinks = alchohol...damn strong :P

The view is so nice, the landscape of the grassland, the blue blue sky, everything is so peacful and clam......beautiful~~ but abit cold, hehehe...

After we get into our tent, we saw a group of cow passing through, so all rush to take photo... moooooo~~

After lunch, we all went for the hourse ride with the famous 成吉思汉 (Ghinggis Khan)hourse. Accident happened during the ride, Ben being kick by the hourse!! The kick is so strong, his leg straight away start bleeding...horrible...My first hourse riding!!Is scary yet fun, although whole body is painful after the ride.

At the dinner, we order the BBQ whole Lamp, is the must try if u go to Mongolia, but is really "lamb"...hehehe...some of them dont like the "lamb" taste :P

The next day, we travel around 5 hours to the nearest desert!! Is so amazing, from grassland to desert,so contrast!! I thought it will be very hot in the dessert, but actually is still ok, just abit windy...

Such a great trip. My first time taking a night train, hourse ride, sleep in the Mongolia tent with such a cold weather, step on a dessert, sit on a real camel, sand sliding......so much fun!!

OMG!! time pass so fast!!9 days just pass like that...I have a fun trip with my sister around Beijing. But we all have to get back to the reality, she end the holiday and went back to Malaysia.

So fast, wish she can stay longer or i have more holiday to go back... ...After my sister visit, will be another round of challenge for me--->miss home so much, family, friends and food~~

haiii....anyhow, i will go back to Malaysia during CNY (22 jan 09 until 6 feb 09), so all my friends, please be ready oh!! Short time pack schedule, hahaha~~ Just want to celebrate my birthday with all of u'll again!! Miss all of u~~

~~Sister in Beijing Day 8 -熊猫 ~~

Today we went out abit late. We took subway to the nearest station then go to the Zoo with taxi. Feel abit tired coz of yesterday damn pack schedule.Hehehe, but still have to go to visti panda~~

After that we went to 景山公园，but is close when we reach there. Coz today is the openning of the Paralympic. Both of us nearly being trap in the Tian An Men area. Lucky we manage to walk out after 1 hour. Damn tired and frustrated!! Then we went to 西域饭庄 to try out the nice 新疆 food that Hoko introduce. We order lots of food and yet all very nice :D and is super cheap, each of us just pay 40RMB for the dinner!!

~~Sister in Beijing Day 7 - 神路,定陵,黄花野长城,慕田峪长城~~

This morning we wake up early in the morning and prepare to go to The Great Wall, and Michele going with us also. The taxi driver come to pick us up at 8am then we went to pick up Michele. Finally heading to the Great Wall. Our first stop is The Sacred Pathway of Ming Tomb 古神道, then is the The 13 Thirteen Tombs of the Ming Dynasty,we went to Ding Ling 定陵. After lunch we first went to The Wild Great Wall at Huang Hua Zhen 黄花野长城,finally we went to Mu Tian Yu Section of the Great Wall 慕田峪长城.

About 2 hours travel, we arrive at The Sacred Pathway of Ming Tomb 古神道.The place was so nice, so fresh-- i mean the air :P....A long long path with all the statues along it. Have a great time walking through the Pathway and for sure busy taking photo with all the statues.

After a long walk at The Sacred Pathway of Ming Tomb 古神道, we on our way to Ding Ling 定陵.We visited the underground tomb, so amazing!! how can they build it back in the old time?? Ding Ling is the biggest and still kept it well among the 13 tomb...

After having not such a good lunch, we on our way to the great wall.The scenary along the way was so nice!! Cant take my eye off it~~ After another 1 hour++,We arrive at The Wild Great Wall at Huang Hua Zhen 黄花野长城. We stop by and taking photo, but is so scary for me...i scared of high!! the dam is so high, i was shaking while walking toward the wild great wall, but since i'm here, must go near to take photo!!

Finally, we are here!!Mu Tian Yu Section of the Great Wall 慕田峪长城!!We took cable car to the 6th fire tower and walk from there...The cable car is open, something like sitting on a "hangging chair" hahaha!!

After a tired day, we went to have dinner with Christina,Alex and Helena at 沸腾渔乡 near 工体.Is all spicy food, so is my sister favorite :P When we are there, Alex ady place all the order...haha, just go and eat!

After dinner, we went to clubbing near Alex's house there. My first time clubbing here in Beijing and we had fun!! So long never dance and drink d~~ Don't know when only will have to time and gang to go clubbing again...

~~Sister in Beijing Day 6 - 故宫~~

Today we decide to go to the Forbidden City!! So excited!! Always saw it on TV, now finally got chance to step into it and take a good look of the Emperor Place of Great China!!There are so many people, although is still weekdays...phew~~ have to avoid the Tourist group, so many people!!We took 6 hours in The Forbidden City yet still havent really finish walking around, somemore around 430pm started to rain and lots of people leaving... At the end both of our camera also out of bactery then we only take our way out form Forbidden City.

~~Sister in Beijing Day 5-后海,恭王府,西单~~

This afternoon, we went to 后海 to have lunch.The famous restaurant to eat BBQ lamb -- 烤肉季, but i think is so so only and ait expensive. After the lunch, we go to Prince Gong Palace by Trishaw.Have to becareful when taking the Trishaw, they always ask for skyhigh price!! around 80RMB should be ok...

Prince Gong Palace 恭王府 is very famous of the Royal Garden, is bigger and nicer than the one in Forbidden City :P....I personally like the view here~~Cannot imagine just a family that stay in such a big big place!!

After a long walk in the Gong Palace, i bring my sister to one of the shopping district in Beijing call Xidan 西单....but this time is to eat Ma Lat Xiang Guo 麻辣香锅, which didnt have in Malaysia.
