~~Sister in Beijing Day 6 - 故宫~~

Today we decide to go to the Forbidden City!! So excited!! Always saw it on TV, now finally got chance to step into it and take a good look of the Emperor Place of Great China!!There are so many people, although is still weekdays...phew~~ have to avoid the Tourist group, so many people!!We took 6 hours in The Forbidden City yet still havent really finish walking around, somemore around 430pm started to rain and lots of people leaving... At the end both of our camera also out of bactery then we only take our way out form Forbidden City.

~~Sister in Beijing Day 5-后海,恭王府,西单~~

This afternoon, we went to 后海 to have lunch.The famous restaurant to eat BBQ lamb -- 烤肉季, but i think is so so only and ait expensive. After the lunch, we go to Prince Gong Palace by Trishaw.Have to becareful when taking the Trishaw, they always ask for skyhigh price!! around 80RMB should be ok...

Prince Gong Palace 恭王府 is very famous of the Royal Garden, is bigger and nicer than the one in Forbidden City :P....I personally like the view here~~Cannot imagine just a family that stay in such a big big place!!

After a long walk in the Gong Palace, i bring my sister to one of the shopping district in Beijing call Xidan 西单....but this time is to eat Ma Lat Xiang Guo 麻辣香锅, which didnt have in Malaysia.

~~Sister in Beijing Day 4 --雍和宫,孔庙,国子监,鸟巢,水立方~~

Another rush day for me...early in the morning rush to office, try to finish my work before noon, then have to rush to 三里屯 and meet up with my sister. She meeting her friends there and after that we went to Lama Temple-雍和宫. The weather is still very nice today, can see the blue blue sky~~

After finish visit the Lama Temple, we walk to Guo Zhi Jian Street-国子监街.Such a special street, there have the Confucius Temple and the 国子监 Temple

There is really lots of history about Confucius and his theory, next time must bring my parents here!! Finish visit the Confucius Temple, we came to the 国子监庙, which is just beside the Confucius Temple.There is the main building in the middle and surround by water...

Finish visit all the Temple and still early to go back...Then we decide to go to have a look of the Olympic Stadium. We reach there almost evening time so is sunset time, but unfortunately we can't go into the stadium, just can have a look outside the gate. We hang around to take a few photo then walk to the "Water Cube". This stadium we can walk till nearby to take photo :)

"Water Cube"~~look so fake when take a close look, but is really nice!! The color of the "Water Cube" will change from blue, green, red and i think is yellow :P

Is really tired to walk for so long and visit so many place....but then still went to 后海 to have dinner. 管记烤翅..opposite the 荷花市场...I seldom eat BBQ chicken wings, but this one really nice!! Must try oh~~

~~Sister in Beijing Day 3 -- 天安门,大栏栅, 国家大剧院~~

Today my sister went to Tian An Men(天安门) and Da Shi Lak(大栏栅) in the morning.She have to go by herself coz i still have to go into office for halfday... Da Shi Lak(大栏栅)just recently open back to public, it was still in construction before Olympic.

We have dinner in a famous Pi Pa duck-琵琶鸭, first time eat the Pi Pa duck and is really cruncy!! Delicious~~After dinner then we walk to 国家大剧院, such a long walk. When we walk through a Hu tong-胡同, we go to a public toilet which dont have DOOR!! This is the first time i walk in to a toilet whitout door~~ WoW!! Such a unforgettable experience...heheh...

After the Teather, we walk to Tian An Men. Tian An Men is very nice at night, look very different from morning. So many people taking photo there, as well as us.

~~Sister in Beijing Day2 -- Temple of Heaven Park~~

We went to the famouse Temple of Heaven Park(天坛公园)early in the morning and today the weather is soooooooo nice~~Got the blue blkue sky oh!!We reach there around 9am...is abit hot yet windy. We go in after bought the entrance ticket, now is full with Paralympic sign, coz the Paralympic Torch passing just reach Tian Tan Park.There are lots of people in the Park, having all kind of activities; playing music instrucment, traditonal chinese game like the TaiChi ball ,ribon dance, chinese opera singing and etc...

It look so nice from far and yet getting nicer and nicer when i go nearer!!My sister and i was so excited, cant wait to see it!!

After a long walk rest abit here, so windy althought the sun is burning on top.... i think because of that i got fever the next day :(

The Temple of Heaven is super beautiful place, who ever visit Beijing cant miss it, must go and visit!!
After come out from Temple of Heaven Park, we went to a famous local Hotpot 南门涮肉 just beside the park to have our lunch...Is alot of people and we wait for around half and hour for our table... but is really nice~~
